I am a
freelance illustrator living in Atlanta Georgia.
My designs are primarily used
for the gift and tabletop industry.
Typically, I work in watercolor and collage
and enjoy incorporating fabric,
stitched paper and found objects in my art.
How did you finally decide on
the look of your brand?
What did
the evolution look like?
That was a difficult thing to
do. I started by looking lots of blogs and websites to see what other people
had done. After determining what I
liked about their brand, I took the time to understand what it said about them
and how it related to their work. Next I selected some of my favorite images
based on what I wanted to say about the work that I did. That was tricky
because I like doing a lot of different things and I needed them to all make
sense together. The next step was to show it
to a couple of different friends (both artists and non-artists) and get
feedback.
